OFF is a exploration of the domestic space as a temporary structure and serves as a starting point for alternative and more dynamic residential environments. It showcases the potential of modular design to create flexible structures in which the living space is not seen as a static construct, but rather as adaptable framework capable of transformation.
The personal space is not separated from the outside world by walls. Rather, the personal habitat expands through the location in nature and plays with the image of the forest as a place of longing. The project aims to embody the dynamism and flexibility of our society and our lives in a temporary structure, while questioning the role of traditional residential spaces.
The fundamental framework is made up of Item D30 aluminum extrusion and individual extensions. OFF comprises a camp bed, a tarp, a table, and a stool. The objects can be adjusted in terms of form and function or attached to the structure
