The graphic on PUR_ABF_01 plays with the metaphor and meaning of branding. The term branding was originally used in cattle breeding and served to identify cattle. Derived from this, the graphic fulfils a similar function. The lines, arrangement and sizes as well as the references to material, place, and participants are all fragments of the underlying thoughts and the process.
It is a visual translation of the concept of the PUR_ series and the collaboration with A BETTER FEELING.

At the same time, the object takes on another level by linking it to brand, person and associations. It plays with the logic of generating an increase in immaterial value through branding and attempts to build a higher appreciation and deeper emotional connection to the object.
„The concept for the exhibition considers the current climate of the global supply chain shortages, and emphasizes the importance of materials and our access to them. At a time when it is especially fraught to acquire the necessities for production, how does our relationship to what we can access shift?“
